The COS womenswear team were inspired by '00s silhouettes when designing the Volume jeans. Shaped with a low-rise waist that's signature to the noughties, they feature subtle contrast topstitching, logo-engraved metal rivets and voluminous wide legs that will pool over your shoes. They're crafted from 10oz organic- and recycled-cotton denim in a faded petrol-blue wash.
A brand whose aesthetic has been so influential that it’s hard to remember what went before. But when COS launched in 2007 against a backdrop of fast, trend-led fashion, its focus on minimal pieces at accessible prices was a breakthrough moment.
