The Warrior Gold-Plated Earrings

Alighieri's 'The Warrior' gold-plated earrings are inspired by designer Rosh Mahtani's father and his battle with MS. The handmade lost-wax cast used for this pair started off as delicate fragments and after toying with the mold, support structures eventually formed reminding her that her father "has been [her] backbone through life's journey."

Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
